Thomas Darnell's On the Nature of Stillness

Spazio hosts "On the Nature of Stillness," an exhibition of new flower and landscape paintings by Thomas Darnell. The opening reception will be on Saturday, November 22, from 6-9 pm.

A Texas native, Thomas Darnell travels the world, showing his work. He resides in the south of France near the Mediterranean Sea along with his wife and children, in the same area where Matisse, Picasso and others drew their inspiration. His landscapes, flower and still life oil paintings have a peaceful, dream-like, photographic quality while the luminous abstract oil paintings have a meditative and vaguely spiritual feel.

Darnell’s work is currently on display in cities around the world, including Hong Kong, London, Cesseras, Nashville and Austin.

Never thought I would blog but somebody smarter than me convinced me that it would be easier than updating my web site.
